52 Weeks of Design Series
A few years out from undergrad, I realized that I missed the creative challenges that came with the diverse design projects I was assigned in school. I love being an in-house designer, but I'd been itching to explore my creativity and work with new aesthetic parameters.
A friend of mine suggested doing a design challenge - duh!
So once a week I post a design that is just for me, just for fun, just to explore. I pick a theme and design style for each month, and create four images based on those themes (Narnia for the first month, Mumford & Sons lyrics for the second month, etc). I'm amazed by the happiness this project brings! I'd encourage anyone going through a creative rut to consider something similar.
